Sunisa Lee was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She started practicing gymnast at the age of six in Midwest gymnastics centre in Minnesota. At the age of eight she qualified for elite. In 2017 she made her international debut at Gymnix International junior cup and has won silver medal in uneven bars and a gold medal in team event. Lee made her senior debut in 2019 ‘Jesolo Trophy’ where she won a gold medal in the final. In the same year in the US ‘National Championship’ she has won the second place in all round after completing her all four events.
This 18 year old girl has won the gold medal in the all around gymnastics competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She is the youngest girl that is a member of 2020 gymnast team. Lee is hard working and determined girl who aspires to become a world class gymnast. She proved her worth and ability in the 2020 Olympics where she bags medal one after another.
